Oh My Word - Havelock

We say

Following the release of his debut EP TRY B4U BUY back in Marchwhich featured the RotD track China DollLondon-based artist Havelock is back today with this infectious and punchy number. He can already count editors at Spotify (NMF, Lorem & Anti Pop), Apple Music (Nightcap) and Deezer (Brand New UK, Indie Jukebox) among his tastemaker supporters, along with Huw Stephens and Abbie McCarthy, all of whom have featured his recent music. Co-written with super collaborator Oscar Scheller (Mabel, SHYGIRL, Rina Sawayama), Oh My Word is sure to follow suit with his witty lyricism overlaying a melting pot of 90s soundscapes, from drum'n'bass, punky guitar and Brit-pop charm. If you listen closely, you can hear an element of Mike Skinner from the Streets too. Just brilliant. Watch the animated video here. It looks set to be a busy time for this rising star as he is to release a single and accompanying video each month until the end of the year.
